Connecting Your Apaleo Account to DIAMO
- Standard integration with hourly price pushes for all rooms 365 days into the future.
- A Unit group can have multiple rate plans and since DIAMO only prices a single rate , it is recommended to provide the rate plan code you want DIAMO to manage rates for. We recommend having a single rate plan code attached to all unit groups. However, if the property has different rate plan codes per unit group and does not want to create a common rate plan then share a mapping of UnitGroup-RatePlanCode with your DIAMO Revenue Manager or representative.
Prepare Your Apaleo Account
- Log into your Apaleo account.
- Set up a Base Rate Plan for each unit group you wish to import to DIAMO. Only base rate plans can be imported from Apaleo. Derived rate plans cannot be imported or updated due to Apaleo's limitations. If you don’t have a base rate plan, follow these steps:
- On the left side panel, navigate to "Properties" and access your Unit Group

- Click on the "Rates" dropdown and choose "Rate plans"

- Click on "New rate plan" and set up your rate plan

- Assign the right Unit Group: Ensure the correct unit group is assigned to the rate plan, and set the time slice to "Overnight." We do not support "Day Use."

- Add Booking Periods: Ensure booking periods are set for your rate plan. You can define a longer rate period in Apaleo, but DIAMO can only update rates for up to 1 year from the current date.

- Set the Pricing rule to "Manually managed rates"

- On the left side panel, navigate to "Properties" and access your Unit Group
- Add a Base Price:
- Go to Prices > Select Overnight > click on the 3 dots > Prices.

- Enter the Start and End Date, select Set Single Price from the dropdown

- Set the base price of your choice under "Single occupancy price", then click Apply.
- Go to Prices > Select Overnight > click on the 3 dots > Prices.
Complete the Onboarding Flow
- Obtain RMMS Onboarding link by contacting your DIAMO Revenue Manager. Once you receive the link, create your account and log in to DIAMO.

- Enter property code in text box provided. Click on ‘Connect to Apaleo’ once done.

- You will be taken to Apaleo login if not logged in already. Once logged in, you will be asked to authorize DIAMO. Click on ‘Authorize’

- Once done, you will be redirected back to the DIAMO screen where you left off. Click ‘Continue’.
- After a short time, you will see a message confirming that your PMS has been successfully connected. Wait until you see the message ‘Successfully Gathered data’, then click on ‘Continue’.

- Now that the PMS is connected, continue with Post-PMS onboarding until you reach ‘Submit’.
- Once onboarding is submitted, you should be able to see the property in DIAMO. Please wait for the calendar and KPIs to populate, which should take no more than 30 minutes once onboarding is complete. In the meantime, proceed with Rate Plan Code configuration by following the steps in the next section.
Rate Plan Code configuration:
- As mentioned earlier, A Unit group can have multiple rate plans and since DIAMO only prices a single rate , it is recommended to provide the rate plan code you want DIAMO to manage rates for. We recommend having a single rate plan code attached to all unit groups. However, if the property has different rate plan codes per unit group and does not want to create a common rate plan then share a mapping of UnitGroup-RatePlanCode with your DIAMO Revenue Manager or respresentative.
- To know rate plan code:
- Navigate to Rates—> Rate Plans

- Select the Rate Plan and look for the code of the rate plan you want DIAMO to push prices for. Make sure you have the rate plan with same code for all unit groups.

- Navigate to Rates—> Rate Plans
If a single Rate plan code is not associated with all Unit groups, we recommend creating a new Rate plan using the ‘New Rate Plan’ option with common rate plan code for all Unit groups. However, if the property has different rate plan code per unit group and does not want to create a common rate plan code then share a mapping of UnitGroup-RatePlanCode with your DIAMO Revenue Manager.
- Once Rate Plan Code is selected, share the rate plan code or UnitGroup-RatePlanCode mapping with your DIAMO Revenue Manager.
Price Validation
Once everything is set up and the property goes ‘Live’ in DIAMO, you can review prices for the rate name you provided during onboarding in the Apaleo ’Rates’ section. Your DIAMO prices will appear under Rates → Rate plans → Prices as shown below.
Verify prices for each date and for the rate name you provided during onboarding.
