DIAMO now delivers rates for every date in your 365-day pricing window, including dates where no rate interval exists yet in Cloudbeds.
What changed
Previously, if a date had no rate interval set up in Cloudbeds, DIAMO could not deliver a price for it and the push failed for that date. DIAMO now creates the rate interval automatically when one does not already exist, so your rates deliver for every day of the pricing window.
Because DIAMO prices a rolling 365 days, one new date enters the window each day. If that date has no interval in Cloudbeds, DIAMO creates it as part of the normal price push.
Why we made this change
DIAMO's pricing model works across the full 365-day booking window. Gaps in rate coverage meant some dates silently received no price update, which weakens forecasting and leaves rates stale on exactly the dates furthest out.
What is impacted
Rate intervals in your Availability Matrix. DIAMO may create a new one-day interval for a date that previously had none, and will set the DIAMO-calculated rate on it.
What is not impacted
Your availability. DIAMO does not change room allocation, inventory, blocks, or any restriction. Creating a rate interval only sets a price for a date.
If you use missing intervals to control availability
Some properties leave future rate intervals absent as a way of holding dates back. If that describes you, please use Cloudbeds' availability controls instead. They are built for this, they work independently of pricing, and DIAMO never modifies them:
- Closed to Arrival / Closed to Departure (recommended) — stop stays starting or ending on a date
- Block room availability — set a room type to Accommodation Blocked on the dates you want held back
- Closeouts — close inventory on specific OTA channels only
- Minimum length of stay, set per date in the Availability Matrix
Prefer to opt out?
If you would rather DIAMO did not create rate intervals for your property, contact your Revenue Manager and we can disable it for you. With it disabled, DIAMO delivers rates only for dates that already have an interval in Cloudbeds.
As always, reach out to your Revenue Manager with any questions.
