Room Type Performance
Which room types earn their keep, plus the same view by pricing group.
Your best room type isn't always the one with the highest ADR. This report ranks every room type by what it actually contributes, with the comparison period next to each number so you can see which are gaining and which are quietly slipping.
It's a table, one card per selected property, no chart. Every column sorts. The default is share of revenue, highest first.
The columns
The pill in the first column is your fastest read: ahead, behind, or in line with the comparison period. Then the numbers behind it.
- Share of revenue: the room type's slice of the property's revenue, with the point change against the comparison period.
- Revenue and Room nights: the totals for your window.
- Occ: nights sold against that room type's own unit count. A two-unit type doesn't get judged against the whole house.
- ADR and RevPAR: rate achieved, and revenue per available night of that type.
- Units: how many rooms of the type exist.
By pricing group
Flip to By pricing group and the report re-aggregates around the groups your pricing is actually configured on.
Group rows name their member room types underneath. Units sums every member, including types that didn't sell, so your occupancy denominators stay honest.
Room types that belong to no group collapse into a single Ungrouped row.
How does DIAMO report on excluded room types?
They are not included. An excluded room type is left out of both your pricing and your reporting, so rooms sold, revenue, ADR, occupancy and availability reflect only the room types in scope for your hotel.
